-Setting the Captives Free-
The Purpose Center (TPC) works to redeem families trapped in bonded-labor slavery in Pakistan and empower them with new work opportunities. We provide free education for enslaved and very poor children, and help vulnerable people with their basic needs, including food and clean water.

TPC helps people to redeem their family, friends and people in their community from the slavery that is the bonded-labor system. We deal directly with local church leaders in Pakistan who identify people who are caught in slavery. The leaders upload the pictures and story of people in slavery to this page and we'll do our best to raise the funds to set people free. The local church leaders then pay the debt and support the people to find work and make a life free from slavery.

Since our beginning,TPC has extended its focus and we now run four small schools for slave and very poor children. We also support Pakistani refugee communities.

TPC was inspired by the sacrifice of bonded-laborers (slaves) and Shahzad and Shama Masih. This couple who had three children were burned to death in the brick kiln where they worked in November 2014.
